Boston Dynamics Atlas Gets DeepMind AI, Heads to Hyundai Factories

Boston Dynamics announced its partnership with Google DeepMind at CES 2026 and began commercial production of the Atlas humanoid robot. With 56 degrees of freedom, 110-pound lift capacity, and full autonomous operation, Atlas will be deployed at Hyundai factories starting 2028, with plans to produce 30,000 units annually by 2028.
